Total health is not just about taking vitamin C to support the immune system, its about supporting the whole body. We at The Nutrition Detectives feel very strongly about this, and as such will advise how improvements can be made in health through also supporting our body through many of the following activities:

  • Getting daily fresh air
  • Incorporating relaxation into our daily routine
  • Making time for family and friends
  • Reading
  • Laughter
  • Reducing external and internal stress on the body where possible
  • Light exercise
  • Eating foods which are ‘real’, e.g. not processed, organic where possible and seasonal
  • Yoga
  • Meditation/mindfulness

Its not about needing to do all of the above every day, its about taking care of our bodies not only through supplements, but with the food we eat, thoughts we think and our daily activities.
